Panera is starting a new rewards program and if you register your card or sign up online, you can get a free pastry or sweet! I did it just now and got a message that an offer for a free pastry or sweet had been loaded to my card and was redeemable for the next sixty days. There’s nowhere on the signup page (that I can find) that it promises this so it’s hard to know for sure if they are still offering it until you register, but hopefully they have lots to give away.

Just went to Panera today and both my son and me were able to get free sweet treats. Me: carrot cake! son: cinnamon roll!

I think you can still get one if you register it.
