Safeway Weekly: Diapers and Wipes for Less Than $5 + More Deals

I am so happy to see that Safeway is doing their Mom to Mom diapers for $5 this Friday – plus the big refill packages of Pampers wipes are $5 and this printable coupon for $0.50 off Pampers wipes makes them $4.00! Don’t forget that you can load their $5 Friday deals to your Safeway card through Just for U and take advantage of the prices all weekend long. (The one thing I haven’t figured out is whether or not you can request a raincheck on Saturday or Sunday if they are out of the $5 Friday deals but you have them loaded to your card. Anyone know?)

These deals are valid January 9-15, 2012.

  1. I was able to get a raincheck on a Sunday for the Friday sugar deal which I had loaded to my card at the Powers/Constitution store. Not sure what their policy is, though.

  2. I was not able to get a raincheck on Sunday for the Friday sugar deal at the store in Fountain (on Mesa Ridge). Customer Service said that they take away the raincheck forms from them.

    • Huh? Who takes the raincheck forms away from whom? I’m confused as to why they would actually take away the forms (though I’m not surprised they won’t do it for the Friday sales on Sunday).

  3. I got Open Nature Bread for $1.75 a loaf (the wider style loafs). They are $2.50 this week and I had a just 4 u coupon for 30% off (unlimited). I thought it was an excellent deal. Plus, I had produce 20% off and discounted prices on bananas and avocados. Those Just 4 u deals stacked and gave me great prices.
I’m so tired of dealing with coupons, I love when I can go into the store and buy what I need without having to give the cashier any coupons.

    • Ooh, I will have to check my account for a bread coupon – I’ve had that one before and have scored some GREAT deals with it, too!
