I usually only pick one store per week. I think I will go to Albs this week – asparagus & roasts. I prefer the rump roast at spouts for the same price, but it will still be there next Wed. Put a roast in the crockpot with vegs & potatoes – great easy meal. Pack of gravy. Also cut a roast in half for veg/beef soup in the crockpot.
Do you know the ground beef at either Albertson’s or Safeway is pink slime meat? Thanks.
Albertsons does not contain pink slime. If you are concerned, they will grind a roast as you wait & package it for you. Albertsons processes their own meat not an outside source.
