If you use Google Reader to read Springs Bargains, you won’t be able to beginning July 1st. Nope, it’s not me that’s making changes; Google Reader will disappear for everyone on July 1st. We are continuing to publish our RSS feed, so you can either find a new RSS reader (I’m still searching for one myself), or subscribe to this site to get all of our posts via email.
With Google Reader going away and Facebook only selectively showing posts, our daily email digest is the best way to get the updates without having to remember to go to the site itself!

I am also looking for a new reader. I have moved a few feeds to My Yahoo but not sure how well I like it yet.
Would love to hear if you find anything you love! Nothing I’ve seen so far is attractive to me, but I’m sure there is something out there. I’d like a web-based version since I look at it both on my phone and my computer; or something else that can sync between the two.
I was so sad when I heard that Google Reader is going away! I think it would be great to have this in reader requests section to see what all everyone has discovered as an alternative reader. Most of the places that I’ve found have said that their servers are now overloaded since the announcement by Google. Some even said that they used to be free but now you have to pay because of all the added interest…
I’ve been using theoldreader.com as my reader. It has worked okay but seems to be behind on getting the blogs to me. Right now I go back to Google Reader to check out Springs Bargains and other blogs that I know have posted blogs on specific days but haven’t shown up in theoldreader.
That would be frustrating! I still haven’t figured anything out – still using Google Reader for now.
