Best Grocery Deals for Thanksgiving 2013: Compare Prices for Turkey, Ham, Potatoes, Cranberries, and More

Wondering who has the best deal on turkey, hams, sweet potatoes, or cranberries this year? We’ve put together a comparison of the prices of common Thanksgiving dinner essentials so you can see who has the best overall deals for what’s on your Thanksgiving shopping list.

Prices from Albertsons, King Soopers, Safeway, Sprouts, Target, and Whole Foods are included, and if you share prices that you’ve found at other stores, we’ll update the list with those deals!

The Albertsons and King Soopers prices are valid beginning Wednesday, November 20th. Most deals are valid through Thanksgiving Day. Target’s prices are valid through Saturday, November 23rd but I don’t anticipate that they will change much with the new ad on Sunday. Sam’s Club’s prices were checked online on November 19th.

  1. Thanks so much for doing this. I appreciate all the time and energy you put into saving all the rest of us money on our groceries. You have saved my family so much money over the years. I recommend Springs Bargains to strangers at the grocery store all the time. Pretty much anyone I see with a coupon. :)

  2. Thank you, thank you!
My grocery ads haven’t come yet. Are there any good deals on cornish game hens? My hubby is the only one who eats a bird on Thanksgiving, so I usually get him one of those.
