Parks We Love: Village Green Park

Here is one of the parks we love in Colorado Springs: Village Green Park at 3590 Carefree Circle North.

This park may not have the most impressive playground, but it has something you don’t see at many parks: a train!  My kiddos have a lot of fun playing on this, and my son once enjoyed playing train robbers with a couple of other kids that were there.

There are swings, a rock wall, and a little ropes course.

There’s a baseball field, a very large grassy area, and quite a few bigger trees with great shade.  I think I also saw a volleyball court or two.

There’s also a covered picnic area with three tables, and bathrooms.  And, there’s a dedicated parking lot for Village Green Park.

We really like this park because of the train!
