Free Museum Passes via Denver Public Library

Sarah emailed me with a great tip: did you know that some libraries offer museum passes that you can check out?  PPLD doesn’t at this time, but the Denver Public Library does!  It looks like passes to History Colorado Center and the Denver Museum of Nation and Science are available to DPL patrons. I’m not exactly sure how it works, so I’d recommend calling the library to get a full explanation of how to obtain and use them.

I wasn’t sure what the qualifications to get a DPL card are, but I looked it up and it looks like you just have to be a resident of Colorado.

Thanks to Sarah for the info!

The Jefferson County Library also has passes to the DMNS as well as several other museums around Denver. They schedule everything online. http://jeffcolibrary.org/culture-pass. You also need to be a Colorado resident to get a Jeffco library card which you need in order to use the culture pass tickets.
