Free 8×10 Photo Print from Walgreens

Thanks to Money Saving Mom for this tip: you can get a free 8×10 photo print at Walgreens when you use coupon code GIFT8X10.  It’s valid through Saturday, November 11th, and typically, you just have to place your order by this date and can pick it up later.

PS – Last year, I accidentally learned that Walgreens photo printing quality is really not that great.  I had some photos printed via Amazon (affiliate link) last year when they had a discount and compared one side-by-side with the same photo printed at Walgreens and the difference in quality was quite noticeable!  Recently, I’ve had some photos printed at mPix and while I haven’t compared them side-by-side with other prints, their quality seems really nice.

Obviously, a free print is free but I thought I’d mention my experience in print quality in case any of you are getting ready to order a bunch of Christmas photos, as I have been quite surprised at the difference in quality among printers!

Appreciate your comments Carrie. By the time I get around to printing out photos, I tend to forget my previous experiences where I saw quality can vary substantially. Thanks for the reminder!

  2. My Sister lives in Denver and her Walgreens prints always turn out awful, so she avoids the freebies. I haven’t ever compared the ones I get at Walgreens here to any other place, but free is my kinda price. This is perfect timing as I just got the digital downloads for my kids school pictures!
