About

SpringsBargains.com, part of Colorado Bargains, LLC, was started in 2008 by Carrie Isaac to help Colorado Springs families save on things they have to buy, and enable them to do things they couldn’t otherwise afford.  Each week we cover money-saving deals at our local grocery stores, large big box retailers, locally-owned shops, mom-and-pop eateries, and chain restaurants.  The site is updated multiple times every day with the latest finds, so check back often!  You can subscribe to site updates for free via email.

In 2010, Colorado Bargains expanded to include DenverBargains.com and GroceryUniversity.com, an audio series teaching how to slash your grocery budget.

Our Team

Carrie Isaac is founder and part owner of Colorado Bargains, LLC and serves as the site’s director and editor.  When she’s not blogging or taking care of the kids, Carrie enjoys cooking and web design.

Jeremy Isaac, Carrie’s husband, is part owner and handles advertising sales, in addition to working as a local Realtor and occasionally contributes to the site in the Ask A Realtor feature.  He is also serving as campaign manager for State Senate District 10 candidate Owen Hill.

Carrie and Jeremy have four children, who know to follow up “can we buy this?” with “when it’s on sale?”  In addition to their business endeavours, Jeremy and Carrie enjoy educating their children at home, playing strategy board games, and cooking (and eating!).  Their mission is to glorify God in everything they do, whether it be Colorado Bargains or eating supper!

Jaime works part-time as a staff writer, handling our daily deal wrapups, free samples, and online deals sections; as well as whatever else gets thrown at her!

Lisa works part-time as a grocery deals assistant and is your Walgreens and Rite Aid (on Denver Bargains) expert!

Abby contributes the weekly What To Make With What’s On Sale posts, sharing recipe ideas and preparation tips for one item that’s on sale at a great price each week.  Abby also shares recipes and blogs about family life at The Chou Life.
