How To Leave A Comment

To leave a comment on this site, you’ll need to click at the bottom of the post where it says this:

{ 0 comments – Read and add your own }

or at the top, on the post title, which looks like this:

This Is The Post Title That Says What The Post Is All About

Then, once you click on the link you’ll be taken to a page with the post, comments, and comment field where you can leave your own comment.  If there are already comments on the post, you’ll see those first.  To leave your own comment, scroll down to the bottom where you’ll find a form to leave a comment.

When leaving a comment, please use your name (first name only is just fine), a valid email address, and your own website (not Springs Bargains) if you have one.  If you don’t have a website, you can leave that field blank.

Then, in the large box, leave whatever is on your mind!  Click submit and the comment will be sent to the blog administrator who will approve the comment and then it will be posted on the site.  There may be a delay; comments are approved throughout the day but there may be several hours until your comment appears.

Please know that your email address is kept private – it is only shown to the blog administrator.  This is used for follow-up comment notification – if someone replies directly to your comment by clicking the Reply button, you will automatically be emailed that reply.

You can also opt to receive followup comments via email on that particular posts by checking the box next to “Want to receive followup comments via email? Check this box!“  This will email you whenever anyone else posts a comment on that particular post.  Please note that if you have this feature enabled and someone also directly replies to your comment by using the Reply button, you may receive similar notifications twice.  This should not happen often.

The Rules

The comments area is a great place to ask questions, share deals, talk about ideas, and vent your frustrations!  In order to make it a great place for everyone, please abide by the following guidelines:

Remember that comments are moderated and must be approved before they will appear.

Be nice.  Please do not post personal attacks against this site, its owner, or its readers.

When venting frustrations, please make every attempt to do it with gentleness and grace.

Please do not use foul or vulgar language.  Yes, I decide what is considered foul or vulgar.  If in doubt, I’ll probably say it’s foul or vulgar.  There are nice words you can substitute for foul and vulgar language – use them!

Please do not put your website URL or otherwise solicit traffic to your own site within the comment box.  This is generally considered SPAM and you wouldn’t want to be know as a spammer, would you?  If you’d like to link to your website, please use the “Website” field as provided on the comment form.  If you run a website you think would be interesting to Springs Bargains readers, email me at springsbargains@gmail.com and I’ll consider sharing it!

Any comments that do not comply with these rules will be deleted.
