Albertsons weekly deals: September 30-October 6

Albertsons has a new “Big Book of Savings” booklet out this month.  I haven’t looked through it completely, but there are some coupons on the cover for free such-and-such when you buy such-and-such.  You can find it in the store, usually where their extra ads or located, or by the newspaper stand.

And there’s a hot, hot, HOT deal on Caribou ground coffee this week at Albies.  All I can say is – leave me some!  I’ve got coffee coming out my ears already after the Seattle’s Best sale at King Soopers last week… but I guess I’ll be making room for more!

Finally, I’ve emailed Albertsons customer service about whether or not they allow manufacturer coupons with their in-ad/store coupons. I was told no, but many of you have asked at your stores and said they said it was fine. So, the best I can tell you is to find out your store’s policy. Sometimes the “official store policy” varies based on which manager and cashier you get!

I went the yesturday and they had some deals that were not adv. Artichokes were 99 cents each, gogurt was 99 cents a box, and Jimmy Dean Thick Bacon was 99 cents. I am not sure how this is on your rating, but I thought those were pretty good prices. Oh I went to the one on Union and Dublin!

If you wait and buy the coffee on Sunday (with a football team jersey) you will save an extra 10% (39cents off) and use a recycle bag and save another 5cents, so then the price of the coffee would be about $1.66. Has anyone tried the Caribou coffee yet? How is it?

Erin, do you mean Union & Research?

Jennifer, I have tried the coffee and liked it. I will be buying more!

Carrie, Thank you for including the Big Book in you review :-)

Jennifer I have tried the coffee the last time it went on sale and it is very good. That is coming from a coffee snob (as my husband so lovingly calls me). Where were the coupons for those?

what do you mean with a jersey? Albertsons takes off 5 cents for bringing your own bag or all your bags?

Also at Albie’s- Arrowhead 6-packs are on sale for $.88 with a store q, and I used a manu Q’s for $1/2- I got the 6 packs for $.38 each. I got to the one on Hwy 115/ Cheyenne Mtn Rd. I don’t know if I’ve ever gotten credit for using reusable bags though.

I’d say so, too, Erin! I’m going to see if I can check out the bacon for 99¢!

Haha – Jennifer, you know you’re a cheapskate when you’re not sure if you want to shell out $1.99 for coffee. ;)

Every Sunday during football season you can wear your favorite team’s jersey and save 10% off your purchase. They take 5 cents off per bag that you bring in and use.
