Sarah commented on Facebook and said that Target’s annual summer toy clearance has now gone to 75% off, at least at the two stores on Powers!

And, Erin also commented on Facebook with a tip that the Walmart store at Woodmen and Powers is remodeling and had a bunch of toys marked down as well.

Now, if I could just figure out a way to buy ahead and actually be organized enough to remember what I’ve bought!

Gretchen emailed tonight and said she found an amazing deal on Land’s End clothing at Sears (Chapel Hills Mall location).  She found quite a few items, but specifically their swim separates, marked down to $9.99, an amazing price for items that normally run $30-60!

Thanks for the tip, Gretchen!  Hope some of you are able to take advantage of it before they sell out!

BunnyTrails tweeted me with this tip: the Ace Hardware store at 3640 Austin Bluffs Pkwy has all their seed packets marked to 50¢!  She said there were lots available when she was there yesterday.

What’s the best thing to do with seeds this late in the season?  Save them for next year, or plant and see what you get?

Their summer shoes are on clearance for 30, 50 and 75% off. They still have really great selection in a lot of sizes. I snagged three pairs of sneakers and a pair of sandals for my boys for $30.

And I found a handful of 75% clearance deals – Merona cable-knit sweaters were down to $5, and a few t-shirts were around $2.50.  This was at the North Carefree Target; deals vary by location!

Seen any other good Target clearance deals lately?  A couple of weeks ago their patio furniture was marked to 30% off but I forgot to check it last night.

Audrey let us know via the Springs Bargains Facebook page that the Walmart at Woodmen and Powers is clearancing out their entire fabric section at 50% off!  Most other Walmarts have removed this section entirely so that may be what they’re doing with this one.

Either way, sounds like a deal to check out!  Last time I had the urge to sew, Walmart actually had some really nice looking home decor fabric that would be a steal at half-off!  Thanks, Audrey!

Wanted to let you know that at the Target on Union and Academy there are several pairs of Diadora shinguards (for soccer) 75% off. They were $12.99 marked down to $3.24.

There were MANY pairs available on the endcap. There is adult size (5′ and up), youth (4’2″-5′), and peewee (up to 4″1).

Sounds like a smokin’ deal! Remember that clearance sometimes goes quickly and varies by location, so they could be all sold out or still have tons left by the time you’re able to get there.

The Palmer Park Walmart had a hot deal on kids’ gloves yesterday – this rack in the kids’ department was full of gloves for $1!  I picked up three pairs since my kiddos spent this winter wearing mismatching gloves and my son may have even work pink gloves a couple of times.

They also had various packages of Huggies and Pampers diapers on clearance for $8.  If you have any of those $3/1 Huggies printables, that would be a great deal!

And, Julie sent in this tip yesterday about clearance at Target:

Target on Academy and Union had bedding sets on clearance for 50% off and there is a printable coupon on their website for 20% off. Before the extra 20% off, some of the queen sets were $22 and change. The twins and fulls were cheaper and the kings were a bit more. Makes for a pretty good deal if you’re redecorating and don’t have a lot to spend. The sets include shams, comforter, sheets and bedskirt.

I was at 8th Street WalMart and they have Monopoly Jr. Disney Channel Edition games on clearance (back by the fish dept.) for $5. You can go to Playsavers.com and print a $5/1 *any* Monopoly game coupon to get for FREE ~OR~ use the $4/1 Insert coupon that came in USA Weekend a little while ago to get for $1; but that insert exp. 3/7/10 so hurry if you want to use that one!

Lots of tips getting sent in about sales all around town!  Here’s a wrapup:

Tacy said the Peterson commissary had eggs starting a 52¢ per dozen for medium Grade A today!  They had quite a few left when she was there.

Christian commented in the new Wall over on the sidebar to say that she was just at Hobby Lobby and they’re having an 80% off home accents clearance!  They had 3 isles of vases/urns/frames/etc for 80% off – not sure which location, they usually run the same sales but selection varies by store.

Loreita shared that Dillard’s is having 40% off their clearance! She heard from a friend in Denver and has confirmed that the store in Pueblo is doing it as well.

X S Threadz is having a buy one, get one for a penny sale through Saturday. They’re located next to Chipotle in the new University Plaza shopping center on North Nevada.

Don’t forget about the 99¢ sweater sale through Friday at the Arc! I saw a friend last night and she got an awesome green sweater for 99¢ yesterday at that sale.

Target has flip flops on clearance for 50¢! These are the ones they were selling in the “value” section in January and February, and today I found a bin of these flip flops on clearance in the shoe area at the Target on North Carefree.

The sign said 30% off, but they were tagged at 50¢, which is 50% off! They seemed to be mostly kids sizes – none in toddler sizes, though. Great way to get a good deal on flip flops before the warmer weather starts!

A friend let me know that The Children’s Place Outlet in Castle Rock has quite a few racks of cheap clearance clothes!  I’ve heard The Children’s Place’s clearance sales can be legendary if you hit them at the right time.  Clearance can be hit or miss, so you may even want to call ahead before heading to the outlets.

Here’s a printable coupon for 15% off, good through February 18th. It’s valid online, too!

Melissa emailed to let me know the Tinseltown Target has 75% off snow shovels, salt, ice scrapers, windshield de-icer, and window sealer!  She said shovels were around $2-4, salt was about $2, and de-icer was 75¢ to $2.

Might be time to stock up for next winter… or keep it handy for this winter, it’s not over yet!  Anyone know if any of the other Colorado Springs Target stores are having similar clearances?

And, Cathy let me know that Sears is having a huge clearance on their Land’s End lines – 40 to 50% off already reduced prices!  She got a new winter coat for her son for $17 – originally $69!  Awesome price for Land’s End.  She said men’s and women’s stuff was on sale, too.
