Chipotle is not to be outdone by Chick-Fil-A’s Cow Appreciation Day. Oh yes, here’s one more opportunity to look like an idiot in order to gain free food: if you to dress like a burrito on Halloween and head to Chipotle from 6-10 PM, you’ll get a free burrito. Yep, it’s free! One per burrito-dressed person, and it appears all locations are participating – I called two in Colorado Springs and got confirmation, and one said that all locations are doing it.

I’ll remind you as the event gets closer. I hope there is a really good sale on aluminum foil between now and then!

We do this every year. LOL! You really don't have to do much. We have wrapped our arms in white towels and it was enough. But you do see some interesting outfits. The earlier you go…the less busy it is.

I did this last year and as long as you are wearing aluminum somewhere on your body you will get a free burrito. So I made an aluminum hat! If you are feeling really adventurous, you can go to each location, stand in line (they get pretty long) and get enough burritos for the week!

But, if you dressed up in a sheet, wrapping it around you, like a burrito, that might do it. No need to purchase expensive foil.

I've been hearing about this for years, but we've never gone. I think we might go this year, at 5:55 pm, so my little girl doesn't have to wait in line all day. She's old enough now ti think it'd be really fun!

Hope to see some of y'all there! It seems that every time I look especially silly, dressed for free food, I run into Carrie, hee hee.
