Man, you guys… the chickens must be having a hard time laying eggs – can you believe the price of eggs?  This may be the second or third or fourth time I’ve mentioned it, but they’ve been crazy expensive lately!  Never thought I’d see the day when I’d say $1 for a dozen was a great price.

Ahem. Anyway, to get some relief from the skyrocketing cost of eggs, become a fan of the Incredible Edible Egg on Facebook and go back this Friday, Feburary 5th, and click on the “Free Eggs” tab to claim a buy-one-get-one-free coupon for a dozen eggs!

Thanks, Mojo Savings!

I hope you Tweet a reminder! I actually try to get eggs whenever the markets (King Soopers, specifically) sell their “reboxed at the store” cartons (mixed from cartons that had broken eggs). The cartons are under $1, and very occasionally I’ve gotten the premium eggs!

I have never heard of that before. Where do you usually find them?

At the King Soopers near Coronado high School, they’re in the lower right corner where the flats are, right next to the milk cases. But they aren’t always there; that’s the tricky part.

Seriously about that price of eggs….YIKES! I’m about ready to build a chicken coop in my backyard that takes me back to my farm-girl days. If the prices keep going up….this may not be a bad idea at all. :)
