Giveaway: the most amazing Christmas music in the world

by Carrie Isaac on November 19, 2009

All_is_Calm_highres-Cover Shot

OK, so I may be partial, just a little bit.  But only a little bit, because this giveaway is fabulous.  One of my sisters, Wendy Stevens, is a brilliant composer, pianist, and teacher.  I would talk more about how brilliant she is but then it would make me look bad so you can just know that she’s brilliant.  Some of her compositions have been published with Concordia Publishing House, Augsburg Fortress, and Hal Leonard!

She’s also got a great CD of favorite Christmas songs, called All is Calm, All is Bright. It’s peaceful, original, creative, inspiring… Just listen to these samples:

Deck the Hall Hoedown

It Came Upon A Midnight Clear

You can also purchase the All is Calm, All is Bright music book – and if you purchase the book by Saturday, November 21st, you get the CD free!  The book would be a great Christmas gift for an advanced pianist.  I can tell you that it will not disappoint – I personally have a hard time playing other books after playing my sister’s arrangements because the other ones are so boring.

And, if you don’t win a CD, they’re also on sale for just $10 through Saturday, tooHere’s more info.  For those sale items, you’ll need to add it to your cart through this link to get the sale price, but be sure to check out her entire store, with more sheet music and hymn arrangement books, from elementary level to advanced.

So, what do you have to do to get the All is Calm, All is Bright CD for free?  Just leave a comment on this post and tell me what your favorite Christmas songs are!  Two lucky commentors will win a free CD. You have until 4 PM on Friday to enter.  Good luck!
