I got up at 6:30 and the kids slept until 8:00 today and it’s amazing how much work can happen in an hour and a half without kids!
I’m even managing to get up links to Target and Walgreens deals on Monday instead of Thursday like it’s been!
Mercedes has a great wrap-up of all the deals at Target and Walgreens this week: you can get some cheap Kashi products this week at Target, including one scenario that just uses printable coupons for those of you who are just getting started. And, I don’t see a whole lot there, but here’s the deals at Walgreens as well.
See anything else at the major big box stores this week? Summer stuff should start going on clearance soon, and if you see any I’d love to post and let others know! Last year Target evidently had a major overstock of patio furniture, because they had chairs that went all the way to 90% off. You have no idea (or maybe you do!) how hard it was to leave them there.

I got a flier in my Sunday paper that I thought said Tide was on sale for $5 at Walmart. I was there today and it was not on sale. If I remember correctly, I thought it was also on sale for around the same price somewhere else in the Sunday ads…Target maybe? I can’t find it anywhere. Anybody know who else has it on sale this week?

Not sure, but a couple of weeks ago I saw an ad that said WalMart had buns for 85 ¢, and a couple of other things, and then when I went, none of it was on sale! I think *might* have been an ad in the Denver Post and not valid here. Not sure about the Tide, though.

I didn’t see it in the Target ad but if you still have the W.M. flier bring it in with you and they have to give you that price since it came from area. I also do this with things that are on sale at Target (take it into a W.M. for price match) since it’s way out of the way for us. Also, I was told it could take W.M. 3 days for prices to take effect for “roll back” or “save more” items.
