So do any of the King Soopers in town actually HAVE the floss or toothbrushes?

Just one more thing I can’t get right this week. We desperately need floss, but I’d settle for toothbrushes…

Debra, I waited a couple of weeks to get the toothbrushes – they were out when the sale first started, then finally got some in. My hunch is that there will be a run on floss/toothbrushes with the new coupons that are out, and then they’ll restock next week. :)

Ask for a raincheck even if the sale is still going on for another few weeks!

This may be a stupid question, but I’m new to this. I’ve gotten a few rain checks at KS but they were for items in the ad. How do you go about getting one for an item that is on sale but not in that weeks ad?

I would ask, and explain that it’s not in the ad. They’ll usually go back and verify the price, and then give you the raincheck! Take a little longer than normal since they usually verify the price.

So, you can use cellfire or shortcuts e-coupons AND manufacturer’s coupons on the same item? I never knew if this was allowed! Thanks!

Carol, basically. It “works” though the ultimate goal is to only allow you to use one or the other since they are both manufacturer’s coupons.

I don’t usually directly encourage using both because I know that’s not their intent, however, I think it’s unfair to the consumer to not be able to remove an e-coupon from their card if they decide they want to use a manufacturer’s coupon instead.

Baptist Rd had quite a few t.b. left in soft & in firm. I’d say about 6 flosses left but that was yesterday so they might have restocked by now.

Thanks for posting the sales that are ongoing from last week!

I tried to find the hamburger helper twin packs last week and couldn’t find them. Are they ususally located with the regular single packs of hamburger helper?

Reply

13 Carrie Isaac March 10, 2010 at 3:04 pm

I think I saw them on an endcap somewhere. I don’t think they’ll be with the regular single packs since they don’t normally sell the twin packs (I don’t think).

Centennial & Fillmore only had a couple regular flosses left yesterday. I was sad there were no mint ones!

Also, their twin Hamburger Helper packs were on an island between the produce and organic food aisles.

If you Buy 1 tide and one staind release, you could use b1g1 insert and $1.00 off tide insert making both of them 4.88

Ashley, I think a reader reported last week that the B1G1 coupon is not valid on the sizes that are on sale. :(

Egglands Best eggs are on sale for $1.99 and with insert coupon for $50/1 they are only $1 a dozen! This is only the regular, not the cage-free organic.

I went to the King Soopers at Powers and Stetson Hills at about 5:00 today and they had some more toothbrushes. I bought two and they still had more. They were out of floss though.

Carrie, I haven’t tried it yet, but today moneysavingmom posted a $1 off coupon (that you can print twice) for crunchmaster. http://www.crunchmaster.com/ppcrecipe.aspx
It’s a big deal for us. One of our kids has alot of food allergies and he can eat these with sunbutter for a meal (like pbjs). So, I’m hoping to get these at a good price. :0)

I was at the safeway in Canon City and on the shelf in front of this product there was a $1 off coupon dispenser. Not sure if they are at every Safeway but if you are there for all the free stuff check it out and you can use them anywhere. I needed more than the two from one computer so this was a great find.

Carrie…I have not written on a deal yet but I found one and did not see it posted already. I went to Kings and the Old Orchard juice the Healthy Balance (low carb and low sugar) our kids love it. They were in the ad for 3 for $5, each one had a coupon for .55 off so new price is 3 for $2. Thought I would pass that along.
