Big thanks to all of you who emailed and commented with your tips on businesses that offer military discounts in Colorado Springs! Here’s the list you’ve helped me compile. It’s far from being comprehensive, so if you know of others, please email me at springsbargains@gmail.com and I’ll add it to the list.

A quick note – some of these businesses are franchises and may not offer the same discount at every location. With all of the discounts, if it’s something you’re banking on, I’d call ahead to confirm that they are honoring the discount and what’s required as far as ID.

Another great resource you all mentioned was CSMilitaryDiscounts.com – they’ve got a bunch listed there, too!

I’ll update this list and re-post it periodically. Thanks to everyone who has served our country, whether past or present, and thanks to all of those military families who have served our country by sharing their soldier!

Lucky Dog (training, kennel etc) gave us a 10% discount on Monday. They said they do it for Active, Retired, Veteran and Civil Service. We saved $20 on the big 16 week dog training course!

Thank you for compiling this list for our military community members!

A comment about the person who was frustrated by not having a form of ID as a vet (separated but didn’t retire)…if you can find a copy of your DD form 214 or previous orders saved…that works too. That’s what I did to get a free meal at Applebee’s tonight.

Also, the Fountain Applebee’s is participating!

Thanks again for such a wonderful resource in this site!
