Old Navy: 50% off clearance starts *today*

by Carrie Isaac on January 15, 2010

Jenny just emailed me an awesome tip, and she even called to confirm it’s going on at both stores here in the Springs!  Old Navy stores are starting their big 50% off clearance event today.  There are always stories of the amazing deals people find at these Old Navy clearance events – hurry in for the best selection!  I believe it usually runs for several days, but of course the best deals are when they have the most stock.

Here’s how to get a 25% off coupon that I believe you can use on clearance items!

Just to be clear it’s an ADDITIONAL 50% off. I hit the one at the Barnes Marketplace just after 10, and it was really well organized. I was impressed. Not a lot of older boy stuff, but still snagged really, REALLY good deals. Yes, used the 25% off coupon in addition to the additional 50% off with no problems! There were a couple shirts I got for 50¢ :) . Didn’t even look at the baby stuff, but it’s worth checking out. I think it’s going until Sunday, possibly Monday.

Just got back from the Barnes store…very organized and not busy but not a lot of stuff. Got great deals on what I did buy though. More women’s clothes than anything. No baby, almost no toddler, no boys and few girls things. I’m heading to Chapel Hills in the am. Any input on what’s there still? Anyone have an extra 25% of 50 off 100 coupon? They’re gone now :(

My husband and I went to the Barnes store last night and we got some great finds for 50% off. When we got home we added up the original cost of the items we bought and if we bought these clothes at full price it would have been $233.50 but with the clearance plus 50% off discount we spent $31.50!!! And then we had a $5 off coupon!! Woo hoo! We are jazzed!! I actually got a pair of jeans for $2.50…that even beats Goodwill or Salvation Army!

I went to the Chapel Hills Old Navy today. I didn’t find much in women or toddler boys, but I found lots of men’s clothing and toddler girl clothing. They had jeans for girls sizes 6-12 months up to 2T for $1.74 I got a couple sweaters for my husband for less than $5 each and a polo for $2.33. The selection is scattered throughout the store, so you have to look for the special orange clearance tag, but there was still a decent selection as of today.

Just back from Chapel Hills O.N. Paid $100 with tax for $753.50 of clothing. (soo $809.26 w/tax) I used a 25% off coupon, no problems, but I couldn’t stack it with my $10 rewards from my Gap card. All in all, amazing trip!

I went to the Barnes store today and ended up with 3 pairs of pants, 1 pair of jeans, 1 shirt and 2 sweaters for my husband and 1 pair of pants and 1 sweater for me for $53 including tax. They didn’t have a lot of smaller sizes for women, and the sizes and everything were very scattered around, but there were some great deals. I’m going to the Chapel Hills one tomorrow!
