I’ve got some readers that need help finding quality service providers for a couple of different things:

I would like to know if anyone knows of a low cost place to get spay/neuters and shots/vaccinations for a cat. I know about Hamlett Spay and Neuter, but they are so busy that they are booking all the way into January.

I need recommendations on a good roofing company.

The human society has a list of the vets that do it low cost.
We have always been pleasantly surprised by the bills at Briargate Veterinary Clinic. We usually expect them to be higher than they are!
Try Yorkshire Veterinary Clinic. We didn’t have to have our dog spayed (she already was when we got her) but their prices are low for vaccines and the doctors are super nice.
For a roofing company, I highly recommend Wilcox Roofing 596-6071.
I can tell you who NOT to use for roofing- Aspen Roofing. There was a visible sag in the gutter area of our garage when they finished. Took 3 times for them to fix it. They put the gutters back poorly, too. I’d never use them again.
Hamilton Clinic, it’s downtown off Union, I think it is off of Boulder. They do a great job – cheap shots, etc. Airway Hospital, Dr. MacIntyre is a WONDERFUL vet – he’s off Platt & powers – he’s been around for years… and usually does large animals, but will see small ones in his office… the office is not fancy, but he knows what he is doing!
We have used Old world roofing for for Both of our houses and we were very happy with them.
Dave Sickafoose at PCI Construction does a great roof! http://www.gopci.org or (719) 487-1161. My insurance adjuster and Regional Building both commented on what a nice job they did when I had my roof replaced last year. I’ve also used them for some bathroom work and was very pleased!
We just used 1-derful roofing. Jim worked very well with our insurance company and didn’t ask for any payment until the insurance had come through. They were very fast and did a great job. They are members of the BBB. Their number is: 636-1332

Definitely slam the door on CSI if they come to your neighborhood for a new roof. They’re a scam and already reported as such.
do NOT use Rocky Mountain Roofing! the owner is obnoxious and rude. the crew (with the forewoman present…she brought the coolers) sat in my front yard and had a beer bust when they finished and then drove away!
