Veteran’s Day Discounts & Veterans Eat Free

Veteran’s Day is Wednesday, November 11th, 2015.  To honor our military, many businesses give discounts and free meals to veterans on this day.  Please be sure to confirm that your location is participating, as many are “participating locations only”.

Veterans Eat Free and Restaurant Deals on Veterans Day 2015

Applebee’s: Free meal for veterans and active-duty military on Wednesday, November 11th. See the menu options here.

Bonefish Grill: Free Bang Bang Shrimp with coupon on Veterans Day.

Bubba 33: Free meal for veterans from a selected menu; call for details.

California Pizza Kitchen: Free meal from a special menu for veterans on November 11th.  See the menu here.

Del Taco: Free menu item on Veterans Day.

Denny’s: Free Build Your Own Grand Slam from 5 AM to noon on Veterans Day only.

Einstein Bros: Free medium drip coffee on November 11th.

Fazoli’s: Free Build Your Own Pasta Bowl on Wednesday, November 11th.

Friendly’s: Free breakfast (Big-Two-Do), lunch, or dinner (All American Burger, served with fries and a beverage) on Veterans Day.

Golden Corral: Free dinner for veterans on Wednesday, November 11th from 5-9 PM. More info here.

IHOP: Free pancakes for veterans from 7 AM to 7 PM on Veterans Day.

McCormick & Schmick’s Steakhouse: Free entree from a select menu for veterans on Sunday, November 8th. Reservations are recommended; see all the details here.

Olive Garden: Free meal for veterans on Veterans Day; from a select menu only. See the menu and details here.

On the Border: Free  meal with presentation of military ID on Wednesday, November 11th. You can see a complete list of participating restaurants here.

Outback Steakhouse: Free Bloomin’ Onion and a beverage for veterans on Veterans Day. Deployed military can also register to get a voucher to redeem upon return. Details here.

Panera Bread: Free bagel, cream cheese, and brewed coffee on Veterans Day (Colorado locations only).

Red Robin: Free Tavern Double Burger and bottomless fries on Veterans Day.

Red Lobster: Free appetizer or dessert for military from November 9th-12th.

Rodizio Grill: Veterans can buy one Rodizio meal and get a second free from November 9th-12th. (Adult meals only.)

Ruby Tuesday: Free appetizer for veterans on Veterans Day, no purchase required.

Texas Roadhouse: Free lunch for veterans. Choose from a special menu of ten entrees as listed here.

Tucano’s Brazilian Grill: Free Churrasco meal with the purchase of another from November 9th through 11th.  Veterans appearing by themselves will receive a meal at half-price. Cannot be used with birthday freebie.

Other restaurants such as Arby’s, Starbucks, Black-Eyed Pea, Chick-fil-A, Famous Dave’s, Fish City Grill, and HuHot have done military appreciation deals or veterans eat free in the past, but I could not yet find information on what they are offering for 2015.
