The Spicy Pickle

You know by now that signing up for a restaurants e-club is a great way to get coupons and hear about special promotions.   But it’s not often they give you a free meal just for signing up!

Chris let me know that the Spicy Pickle will give you a free sandwich on your birthday, and I wanted to make sure I got on their list before mine gets here in a few weeks.   I signed up, and sixty seconds later I had an email with a coupon for a free entree!   You do have to purchase a fountain drink, but in my opinion, that’s a pretty sweet deal.   Sign up here!

There’s just one Spicy Pickle location in the Springs, at the corner of Briargate Parkway and Union.   There’s a bunch of them in the Denver area if you’re from up there!

Stay tuned – tomorrow I’ll give you another great lunchtime freebie.

It expires 14 days from date sent, lots of time to use it!

There’s another Spicy Pickle just past the intersection of Centennial and Garden of the Gods (by Trinity Brewing) unless it’s gone out of business in the last 6 months. I used to go there pretty frequently when I worked just down the road.

There used to be a Spicy Pickle on Garden of the Gods, just west of Centennial. I haven’t been there for a year…perhaps they closed?

Kathy and gardensimple,

That location’s not on their website: http://spicypickle.com/locations/locations_colorado.html It does say there’s one in development in Co Springs, and on their map, there’s also an “F” in Colorado Springs but it doesn’t appear on the list. Maybe it closed?

It would surprise me if it did close. The lunch crowds along GotG keeps all the restaurants in that area pretty busy.

Hopefully one of your readers is in the area and can do a drive by and check it out. (I no longer work on that side of town, otherwise I’d go take a look.)

I do love their food, although I think the portion sizes are bit small for the price.

It closed a while back. I think that strip mall was just too empty to draw a crowd.

I’ll do a drive by tomorrow. I work just down the street. I haven’t been there in awhile though so maybe they closed and I didn’t notice. Boo.
