Here’s some deals I see at King Sooper’s this week. I’m only mentioning what is, for me, a rock-bottom (or close to it) price. Let me know if I missed something!
Whole Gold Pineapple $1 each – best price you’ll pay anywhere, hands down. That’s $1 EACH, not per pound. Get there today or tomorrow for the biggest pineapples: I’ve found they usually stock small ones for this sale but if you get there early you can typically snag some of the larger ones. And, they’ll almost positively run out of stock by Monday or Tuesday so don’t forget to stop in and get a raincheck to use at a later date.
Organic Green Pears $1.50/lb – great price for organic pears.
Organic Cameo, Granny Smith, Red Delicious, and Golden Delicious Apples $1.50/lb – I’ve seen organic Red Delicious and Golden Delicious apples for $.99/lb, but I think this is a pretty decent price for organic Cameo and Granny Smith apples.
Avocados $1 – like I’ve said before, best price unless you want to try your luck at WalMart’s produce or stop at an ethnic market.
Broccoli $1 – rock bottom price for me.
Colorado Proud Gallon Milk $2.49/gallon – this is their everyday price, so no huge sale here, but I’m pretty sure it’s the cheapest in town, unless you find a great markdown.
Quaker Cereal $2 – use $1 off 2 Quaker Life cereal coupons to get these for $1.50. This is not a rock bottom price for me, but decent if you need cereal.
Aleve 24ct $1.99 – use $1 off 1 coupons to get these for $.99
Proctor and Gamble Super Saver Event: Buy $25 worth of participating P&G products, save $5 instantly (on the other items in your purchase). This could maybe be a decent deal, but I’m not seeing any prices that are even decent when combined with coupons and the net effect of 20% off ($5 off $25 is effectively 20%).
