Albertson's deals: January 21-27

I don’t see any great deals to make me rush to Albertson’s this week but their price on chicken breasts ($1.88/lb) is just a little over rock-bottom for me and they’ve got 10 lb bags of russet potatoes for $2.99.  The other thing I wanted to mention is that they’ve renewed their coupon-doubling campaign through February 3 – coupons up to and including $.50 are will be doubled, up to and including $.33 will be tripled, and up to and including $.25 will be quadrupled.

I’m pretty sure I’ve heard that they also double coupons that are over $.50 up to $1.00, similar to King Soopers or Safeway (ie, a $.75 would be “doubled” to $1.00).  Maybe there will be some good sales to match with coupons next week.  I’d love to see my $.25 coupons be worth a whole dollar!
