King Soopers deals: January 21-27

I don’t see much else to get excited about at King Soopers this week, so here’s what I’m buying at the “Mega Sale”. Not many free or really cheap deals like we had at the last similar event, but some great prices on things I haven’t seen on sale in a long time, like cheese. Other Kroger regions have other items included in the sale that are not listed in the King Soopers ad, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled in the store for more participating items. I’ll update if I find more!

Kraft Philadelphia Cream Cheese $.79 – Cheesecake, here I come!

Kraft Mayo $2.49 – Use $.75/1 coupon to get for $1.49

Kraft Velveeta $4.38 – Use $1 insert coupon or printable to get this for $3.38

Heinz Ketchup $1.49 – I *think* I’ve gotten this cheaper during the summertime, but picnic supply-type sales are still a couple of months away so I’ll replenish my stash with enough to last until them (Even being the dedicated Republican that he is, Jeremy will not eat anything but Heinz!)

Orville Redenbacher’s Microwave Popcorn $1.69 – Use $1/2 to get this for $1.19 each. Not sure if this is a stock-up price or not.

General Mills Chex Mix $1.69 – Use all of those $.50/1 Chex Mix coupons that are cluttering up your coupon organizer to get these for $.69. Here is where I reminisce about the “good old days” (like a year ago) when Chex Mix would go on sale for $1 and you could get it free. Haven’t seen that in foreeeeeever, though.

Green Giant Steamers $1.09 – Use $1/1 or $.50/1 to get these for $.09! (Albertson’s puts these on sale for $1 every couple of months and then you can get them for free, but they always run out and it’s a pain to remember to redeem rainchecks. I’ll pay nine cents and save a trip to a different store!)

Kraft Cheese $1.49 – Finally, a sale on name-brand cheese! This is a great price. I usually buy cheese at Sam’s, but this is a better deal: store-brand mild cheddar is $2.45/lb at Sam’s, and name-brand cheddars go up from there. Now, if only there were some coupons to go with it…

There may be some Shortcuts or CellFire coupons to go with these or some of the other items, but come on – you have to do SOME of the work yourself. ;)  And remember to be on the lookout for blinkies or peelies to make these deals even sweeter!
