Mentos Gum is on sale at King Soopers for $1 – use 55 ¢/1 coupons to get it FREE, or 55 ¢/2 to get it for 50 ¢ each. You’ve got some time to get in on this sale; it runs through March 10th.
Here are my shopping trips from today:
At King Soopers I paid $8.00 for one box of MultiGrain Cheerios, 2 packages Mentos gum, 2 heads organic Romaine lettuce, 1 package organic green onions, 1 piece ginger root, 1 head garlic, 2 dozen organic brown eggs, and 2 dozen cage free brown eggs. At normal prices, the eggs alone would have been over $8!
I’ll be showing you how I did this at the workshop on March 7th, and giving you some pointers on how you can save big money on organics, too – lowering your grocery budget doesn’t mean just buying junk food!
I spent $4.72 at Safeway and got 1 red bell pepper, four jars Ragu sauce, 1 gallon milk, and 1 package linguine. Unfortunately, they were out of ground beef so I’ll probably go back at some point and pick up some meat. (The red meat would have gone nicely with the rest of the red in this picture, huh?!)
