I noticed in Sunday’s paper that WalMart has lowered their milk price to $1.78 per gallon – we’ve been seeing about this price at King Soopers and Albertsons, so if I haven’t yet convinced you that you can most things cheaper at other stores, this is good news! A lot of times WalMart lowers their prices temporarily and then raises then in a few weeks or months, so it will be interesting to see how long this lasts.
They also have green bell peppers for 65 ¢, roma tomatoes for 97 ¢/lb, avocadoes for 75 ¢, cello lettuce for 75 ¢, Hormel bacon for $1.98 (pretty good price), and Capri Sun for $1.75 – which you could potentially use that $1 off coupon from Sunday’s paper to get it cheap, assuming that variety is included.
