Safeway's Living Well Feeling Great Promo

Ventured into Safeway yesterday to do the Living Well Feeling Great promotion, and did pretty well!   Here’s what I got:

6 Bertolli Premium Pasta Sauce Pouches $12.00
1 No Yolk Noodles $1.25
2 Barilla Mini Penne $3.00 (not in Living Well promo)
2 All Small and Mighty Detergent $8.98
5 Finish/Electrasol Powerball Tabs $19.95

Subtotal: $45.18 (Totally did the math wrong in-store, evidently. Wanted it to be around $30.)

Use 6 Bertolli coupons ($6), 1 No Yolks coupon ($1), 2 Barilla coupon ($2), 2 All coupons ($1.80), 5 Finish coupons ($12.50).

Total paid at checkout: $23.95

Received one $10 Living Well coupon and three $2 catalinas (for buying 6 Bertolli sauces), making my net out of pocket $7.95 for all that! I’m a little mad at myself for making my subtotal higher than I needed to, but oh well.   In the scheme of life, spending a few bucks too much on this Safeway trip is really a minor issue. :)

The Living Well promo runs through May 5th, and most of the sale prices are good through then, too, so you have time to get the deals. I’m still not seeing too many other items other than the ones I mentioned the other day, and now the Finish dishwasher tabs since we got a $2.50 coupon in yesterday’s paper, but there are still some nice deals, and I’ll be back for more!
