There was a Safeway circular in the Gazette yesterday (link) – prices are good through next Sunday, the 24th. There’s just a few good deals in it – I would definitely advise waiting until Wednesday when the regular circulars comes out unless you need these items before then – the in-ad coupons are good until next Sunday, and some of the items in the ad (like ketchup, bbq sauce, etc) may go cheaper at other stores.
- Joint Juice 88 ¢ – Use $1/1 to get it FREE! The coupon will likely beep since it is for more than the price of the item. They should be able to either force it through, or adjust the value of the coupon down to 88 ¢.
- Vitamin Water, Powerade, or Arizona Tea – 88 ¢ – Good price, but comes around quite frequently for Vitamin Water and Powerade.
- Kraft Singles 99 ¢ with in-ad coupon – This coupon is only going to bring the price down to 99 ¢ for ONE, which is a pretty good deal. Of course, I’d like to be able to buy two and use the $1/2 manufacturer coupon, but the second package is going to ring up around $2.99, which is going to mean you’ll get two for $1.49 each. I’d advise just buying the one with the in-ad coupon for 99 ¢.
- Kingsford Charcoal $5.99 with in-ad coupon – Great price, and you can use the manufacturer’s coupon for FREE KC Masterprice BBQ sauce when you buy Kingsford charcoal – even better!
- Oscar Mayer Meat Wieners 2 for $1.99 with in-ad coupon – Use the $1/2 manufacturer’s coupon to get for 50 ¢ each. A great price, though I’m guessing we’ll probably see this price at multiple stores this next week as Memorial Day sales heat up.
Remember that the in-ad coupons require a $20 minimum purchase – that $20 includes all items your buying after store discounts and in-ad coupons, but before your manufacturer’s coupons. There’s other great deals at Safeway this week that will help you get to your $20 minimum – read here!
If you didn’t get an ad in the Gazette and want to use the coupons, there should be an ad in-store. You may have to ask at customer service for it, and if they don’t have any there, you may be able to ask for a raincheck for the in-ad coupons.
