Pretty slow week at Safeway this week…
Meat, Dairy, and Frozen:
- Rancher’s Reserve Beef 7-Bone Steak $1.49/lb
- Safeway Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts $1.99/lb – The absolute MOST I will pay. Buy if you have to have it, but it goes lower quite frequently.
- Safeway Select or Lucerne Creamery Ice Cream $2.50 – Good, but very frequent price.
Produce:
- Sweet Seedless Watermelon $3.77 – If they’re big, it’s a good price, if not, not a good price! Around 25 ¢/lb would be a good price.
- Sweet Yellow Onions 77 ¢/lb – Cheaper at King Soopers this week, still a decent price.
- Red or Green Leaf or Romaine Lettuce 77 ¢ each

General Grocery and Household:
- Fuze, Gatorade, Propel, SoBe, SoBe Lifewater, Arizona Tea, Joint Juice 80 ¢ When You Buy 10 or More – Decent price, but one that comes around frequently. Buy enough for a few weeks, no need to blow your budget!
- Orowheat Breads and Francisco Rolls $1.49 with in-ad coupon – Good price, remember that their in-ad coupons require a $20 minimum purchase.
- Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Crackers 99 ¢ – Good price, not the lowest they’ll go.
- Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ Sauce 99 ¢ – Did we get coupons for this? I know a lot of regions did but I can’t seem to find mine. If so, you could possible get them free!
- Rosarita Refried Beans 99 ¢ – Good, but very frequent sale price.
- Aquafresh Toothpaste 99 ¢ – I doubt the right varieties that are included in the recent coupons are included in the sale, but if so, it could be free. If not, I would wait.

Remember that you’ll have to buy five to get the price quoted below. This is when it’s to have multiple coupons! Don’t be too worried if you don’t have coupons, these prices come around pretty frequently.
- Kellogg’s Pop Tarts 99 ¢– Use 55 ¢/1 to get FREE, or $1/2 to get for 49 ¢.
- Kellogg’s Fruit Loops $1.49 – I don’t believe there are any insert coupons out there, but if you can find a blinkie for $1/2, these would be 99 ¢, which is the absolute max I’d pay for a box of cereal
- Kellogg’s Frosted MiniWheats $1.99 – If you have any $1.50/1 coupons from Vocalpoint, you could get them for 49 ¢.
I’ve just listed the sales that I would consider good deals in this poist, so be sure to check out the entire ad online. Remember that you can use the following e-coupons at Safeway: Cellfire and P&G esaver. And, if you have trouble with Safeway not accepting any printable coupons, you might want to check out the policy on their website here.
