Albie’s has some hot deals on ice cream, pop, and bottled water this week. I like how they at least have one thing that’s a hot deal that’s good for you. :) Don’t forget that they’re doubling, tripling, and quadrupling coupons this week! This means that your 25 ¢ coupons are now worth $1, your 30 ¢ coupons are now worth 90 ¢, and those 50 ¢ – 99 ¢ coupons are worth a whole dollar. (Coupons $1 and above are redeemed at face value.)
There are a few in-ad coupon this week for hot dogs. Albertsons’ official policy is to not accept manufacturer’s coupons along with an in-ad or store coupon, so keep that in mind.
Also, if you’re a member of our fantastic military and have an ID, you can save 10% this week! Just show your ID at checkout. Also, if you’re a “senior” (not sure how old that is!), you can also save 10% off by shopping today, Wednesday.
Meat, Dairy, and Frozen:
- Ribeye Steak, Bone-In $4.77/lb
- Hillshire Farm Smoked Sausage Links Buy 1 Get 1 Free with in-ad coupon – This would work out to $2.65 each, not that great of a price.
- Nathan’s Famous Premium Franks Buy 1 Get 2 Free with in-ad coupon – This is still $2.16 per package. If you have to have this brand, it might be a good deal, but it’s not really a good price per pound at all.
- Ball Park Premium Meat or Turkey Franks Buy 1 Get 3 Free with in-ad coupon – Works out to $1.43 per package, which might be a good price for *beef* franks but not really for *meat* franks.
- Challenge Butter $2 – Use 50 ¢/1 printable to get for $1, a great price outside of sales around Easter or Thanksgiving/Christmas.
- Tombstone Pizzas $2.50 each – According to the ad, you’ll get a $3 catalina when you buy four, making your net cost 4 for $7, or $1.75 each, a great price!
- Buy 4 Products Get $4 On Your Next Order – This is going to come in the form of a catalina that’s good on your next order. Participating products are listed below (noted with an asterisk).
- Dreyer’s Ice Cream $2.27 (Limit 2)* – This is awesome with the Buy 4 Save $4 promotion – these would be $1.27 after the promo! Keep in mind that you can only buy two at this price, and you’ll need to buy four total participating products to save $4.
- Dreyer’s Dibs, Nestle Drumsticks or Ice Cream Sandwiches, Eskimo Pie Ice Cream Bars, Haagen Dazs Ice Cream Bars, Nestle Push Ups, and Dreyer’s Fruit Bars $2.99* – $1.99 after promo, great price!
- Skinny Cow Novelties $3.99 – $2.99 after promo.
Produce:
- Strawberries (1 lb) $2 – Decent price, cheaper elsewhere.
- Northwest Bing Cherries $1.49/lb – Great price, but still cheaper at Sunflower Market.
General Grocery and Household:
- Pepsi 6 or 12 packs and Coke 12 Packs Buy 5 Get 1 Free / 5 for $10.77 – If you drink it, this is definitely a stock up price! Look out for coupons attached to the product, occasionally Albies has those.
- Powerade Sports Drinks 50 ¢ – Great price, I would stock up at this price – except, it’s limit 4. Make lots of trips! :)
- Albertsons Hot Dog or Hamburger Buns 88 ¢
- Boulder Canyon Chips $1.50 – Use $1/2 from Coupons.com to get for $1. Good price, but cheaper at King Soopers this week.
- Lay’s Potato or Kettle Cooked Chips $1.50 – Great price even without a coupon, but if you have the $1/2 coupon from AllYou magazine, they’re just $1!
- Pepperidge Farm Goldfish $1 – Good price, but not a stock-up price.
- Arrowhead Mountain Spring Water (12 pack, 23.7 oz) 2 for $3 (Must buy 2) – These bottles are quite a bit bigger than your normal 24 packs, so this is a great deal! According to the ad it’s equivalent to 35 16.9 oz bottles.
- Heinz Ketchup $1.88 (40 oz)
- Bush’s Baked or Grillin Beans $1.66 – You can use this coupon for $1/2 to get them for $1.13 each; cheaper elsewhere.
You can view the entire ad online here; make sure to check out everything that’s on sale before heading to the store! This weekly ad review is part of BeCentsAble’s Grocery Gathering.
