Rock Ledge Ranch is celebrating the bounty of the season by opening up for free this Saturday from 10 AM to 3 PM! You can visit the historic homestead, tour many of the buildings, and watch various demonstrations, all for free! There are paid activities like the pumpkin patch or wagon rides, but you can totally go and still have fun without spending a dime!

It’s a really slow week at Safeway. I was planning to stop in for the 25¢ bread, but it requires a $10 minimum purchase and after looking at the ad I’m not sure I could find $10 worth of other deals that it would make it worth my trip. Oh well!
Safeway has some printable coupons on their website, and most of them are the same as the ones at Coupons.com; however, sometimes they put up store coupons and I just checked and there’s quite a few up there that appear to be store coupons for medicines, soap, meat, and produce! You should be able to combine a store coupon with a manufacturer’s coupon, so that could make for some sweet finds.

You can buy cinnamon sticks for much, much cheaper than you’ll ever find in a jar! I think I paid $7.99/lb for cinnamon sticks there last year, which sounds like a lot per pound, but they don’t weigh much. If you want to give yourself a heart attack, figure out the price-per-pound of the spices you buy in jars at Walmart. :)
