Anyone know if the Albies at Garden of the Gods and Centennial is still doubling all the time? There are a lot of good deals this week if they were – still some pretty nice ones, but a lot more would be free with double coupons! Let’s hope for a weekend ad announcing double coupons like they’ve been doing some weeks. Let me know if you see any mid-week ads in the Gazette for Albies – if they publish one, it’s usually on Friday.
Also, many of these deals are good with printable coupons, which is awesome, but a few of you have emailed me about problems you’ve had with Albies accepting printables. Some cashiers say they don’t accept them at all, some say they have to be printed in color, etc. All I can say is: I can’t do anything about it! :) They should accept them if they are valid, but just know that occasionally they like to be funny about it.
Meat, Dairy, and Frozen:
- Gallon Milk $1.58
- T-Bone Steak $4.99/lb
- London Broil $1.79/lb
- Catfish $3.99/lb – Doesn’t go on sale often – not sure how good of a price this is though.
- Cacique Chorize (10 oz) 99 ¢
- Armour Lunchmakers 99 ¢
- Bar-S Jumbo Hotdogs (16 oz) 99 ¢
- Old Orchard Juice 99 ¢ – Use $1/4 from OldOrchard.com to get them for 75 ¢ each
- Tony’s Crispy Crust Pizza 99 ¢
Produce:
- Red, Green, or Black Seedless Grapes 99 ¢/lb
- Asparagus $1.99/lb
- Eggplant 69 ¢ each
- Yellow Onions (3 lb bag) 99 ¢ each
General Grocery and Household:
- Marcal Paper Towels (single roll) $1 – This unadvertised deal runs through 9/28, so plenty of time to get them for free with the dollar off coupon from a recent insert!
- Pepsi, 7Up, RC, or A&W 2 liters 79 ¢ (limit 8) – Stock up!
- Malt-O-Meal Cereal 99 ¢ (limit 5) – OK price for this brand, other brands are cheaper this week. It’s “while supplies last” which probably means you can’t get a raincheck.
- General Mills or Post Cereal, Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks, Yoplait Yogurt (4-packs), Pillsbury Toaster Strudel or Scrambles $1.50 (limit 10) – Lots of coupons you can use with this. Check out the printables at Smartsource.com and Coupons.com. There’s also this $1.00/1 Pillsbury Toaster Strudels Pastries. Overall, my target price for cereal and fruit snacks would be 50 ¢ or less, I’d pay up to $1 for yogurt and the toaster strudels. You can get the yogurt for 50 ¢/pack with the $1 printables or insert coupons!
- Buy 6 Save $3 (limit 1 reward per transaction): The below items are all included and the prices reflect the 50 ¢ discount for buying 6. There are printable coupons for almost all of these products at Smartsource.com and Coupons.com! You can also print some of them via the Pillsbury banner below (requires registration).
- Old El Paso Mexican Rice, Enchilada Sauce, Beans, or Taco/Tostada Shells 75 ¢ – Use 60 ¢/2 to get for 45 ¢ each – pretty good price even w/o coupon.
- Betty Crocker Warm Delights $1 – Use 50 ¢/1 to get them for 50 ¢.
- Pillsbury Grands Biscuits $1 – Use or $1/2 to get them for 50 ¢ each!
- General Mills Fiber One Toaster Pastries $1
- Green Giant Steamers $1 – Use 50 ¢/1 to get them for 50 ¢!
- Chex Mix $1 – Use 50 ¢/1 to get for 50 ¢.
- Totino’s Pizza Rolls $1 – Use 40 ¢/2 to get them for 80 ¢ each.
- Old El Paso Enchilada Sauce, Spanish Rice, or Taco Shells $1 – Use 60 ¢/2 to get for 70 ¢ each.
- Betty Crocker Frosting $1 – Use 50 ¢/1 to get for 50 ¢
