This Monday, November 2nd, is another free admission day at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. They’re open from 9 AM to 5 PM, and are located at 2001 Colorado Boulevard in Denver. If you can’t make this one, they’ve got another one coming up on November 22nd.

Restaurant E-Club Week: Famous Dave’s
Sign up for the Famous Dave’s P.I.G club and you’ll get a code for anything from a free dessert to a free All-American Barbecue Feast. The only catch is that they don’t tell you what you got until you go into the restaurant! You might be able to tell what they’ll give you based on this code key, but I’ve not tried it so I don’t know if that’s accurate or not. It’s good for about a month after you sign up and receive the email.
They send you the same time of coupon for your birthday And, I found out this morning that kids eat free at Famous Dave’s tomorrow, October 31st, all day long. One kid per purchase of adult entree.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Rebate Season
Lots of rebates going on right now – this is the time of year that they come out of the woodwork!
- If you eat Special K products, you’ll want to get in on this deal whether you’re actually trying to lose weight or not: submit 5 tokens from specially-marked packages of Special K products to get $10 off a pair of jeans!
- Purchase five (5) participating frozen products (Hungry-Man, Mrs. Paul’s, Van de Kamp’s, Duncan Hines Oven Ready, Aunt Jemima, or Lender’s Bagels) between 10/11/09 and 11/9/09 and submit the Real Meal Deal rebate to receive $5 in coupons (appears to be 5 coupons for $1 each).
- $10 Toy Cash certificate from Keebler: purchase any five specially-marked packages of Keebler cookies or crackers and receive a $10 toy voucher by mail with this form and five tokens from the product packaging. Maybe some of the ones that are included in the KS Mega Event will have the tokens? Good through 12/31/2010.
- Kellogg’s Bonus Bucks: buy three specially-marked packages of select Kellogg’s cereals and enter the codes here to receive $10 in bonus bucks (redeemable at a variety of retailers).
- You can submit this SC Johnson $5 Rebate up to three times! Purchase any three Ziploc, Glade, Windex, Scrubbing Bubbles, Pledge, Shout, Fantastik, Drano, Raid, Off, Saran and Nature’s Source products, get $5 back by mail with this form.
The Kraft Keep The Jingle Rebate is a hot one: bluy 10 participating Nabisco (7 to 16.5 oz), Easy Cheese, and/or any participating Planters nuts (9.5 to 21.25 oz) 10/1/2009 to 11/30/2009, submit the original receipts with this form, and get $10 back! Update: there is now a new rebate listed on the site that has a deadline of 1/31/2010. You should be able to submit both!
And finally, if you have a baby in diapers, you need to know about this rebate:
- Purchase Huggies diapers and submit the receipts with the Caregiver’s Marketplace form and get 75¢ per package back! You have to submit at least 5 at a time, but it’s an ongoing program. One note, I think you need to submit any receipts for 2009 by the end of 2009.
Don’t forget about the $1 deal at Boston Market
Update: they’ve pulled the coupon from their site because of the demand, however, it states that they will be honoring the coupon. Hope you printed yours earlier today! I didn’t. :(
This is such a hot deal that I wanted to post it again so that you can take advantage of this deal before it expires. Print this coupon to receive a Real Chicken Meal at Boston Market for just $1 through Sunday! You guys have had awesome experiences redeeming this coupon – kudos to Boston Market for this promotion and to our local stores for being so welcoming. A reader even said the manager told her family of 10 to come back again with the coupon!
And, this week they’ve also still been extending the Kids Eat Free promo when an adult purchases a meal with that coupon. Incredible. By the way, it was originally scheduled to end on 10/31, but they’ve extended the Kids Eat Free promo through the end of January, though it’s valid on weekends only. Two kids free per adult!
Weekly chat thread: Operation Christmas Child, food drives, and whatever else is on your mind!
Time for our weekly chat thread – last week we talked about warehouse club memberships; this week, feel free to chat about whatever’s on your mind! Please share your menus, requests for help, and questions that don’t fit anywhere else.
Hey, are any of you filling shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child this year? It’s an outreach by Samaritan’s Purse that serves to show Christ’s love by distributing gift boxes to children overseas who otherwise wouldn’t have much of anything. I think we’d like to do one or two, and I’m wondering what you usually put in yours. Here’s a list of accepted items. Where have you found is the best place to buy inexpensive toys?
We couponers ought to be able to put in some toiletries for pretty cheap, but I can’t afford to spend more than a few dollars on toys and want to get the most bang for my buck – and unfortunately, I haven’t planned ahead so I have nothing!
Also, I’m thinking ahead to all the food drives that usually happen in November and December, and some of the items I’m buying (or “buying”) at King Soopers Mega Event will be saved to donate to charity. Even if there are items you’ll never use yourself, consider buying them to donate to someone who will! There may even be chances to get free food at restaurants when you donate food – I know Qdoba did one last year, and Chick-Fil-A has before.
Anyway, join the chat with whatever scatterbrained thoughts you wish to share like I did above! :)
Restaurant E-Club Week: Noodles and Company
Well, I got a little behind on the Restaurant E-Club Week, but I still have lots of offers to share with you so I’ll keep on ’til they’re through!
You simply must sign up for Noodlegrams from Noodles and Company. They’ll send you a B1G1 coupon for joining (good for about two weeks from the date you sign up), a free dish on your birthday, and sometimes when it snows they send out B1G1 coupons good for just a couple of days! (Really – we got one on Wednesday of this week!)
Weekend roundup: lotsa free food!
Whether you celebrate Halloween, Reformation Day, or “fall harvest”, there are lots of ways to get free food this weekend! Here we go:
- Kids eat free at Outback Steakhouse with paying adult when they’re in costume on Saturday night, October 31st. Constitution and Powers location only. Thanks, Lisa!
- *New* Kids eat free at Famous Dave’s Barbecue all day on Saturday with adult entree purchase.
- Free burritos at Chipotle from 6-10 PM when you show up dressed like a burrito!
- Free BlackJack Taco from Taco Bell from 6 PM to midnight. You may want to call ahead, sometimes Taco Bell’s participation varies pretty widely.
- Free kid-size pizza from Papa Murphy’s on Saturday when your kid shows up in costume – not all locations are participating, read here to find out which ones are.
- Keva Juice is having a smoothie special from 5 to 7 PM on Saturday, October 31st when you’re in costume (and I would guess a Chipotle burrito should count!) – 12 oz smoothies are $1 and 24 oz smoothies are $2. One per customer. The location at 1912 Southgate is definitely participating, you may want to call on the others. Thanks, Catherine!
- Applebees is serving 99¢ kids meals and 1/2 price appetizers on Saturday, October 31st – I know for sure the location at 3708 Galley is participating, you may want to call on the others.
- If you have a Warrior card from PF Chang’s, you can show it on Saturday and get 20% off your order. If you don’t have a Warrior card, you can sign up here (though it does take a few days to come in the mail).
I’m planning on hitting at least Chipotle and Taco Bell… Still haven’t managed to convince my husband to dress up like a burrito, much less appear in public with me dressed like one! :)
