Albertsons weekly deals: October 7-13

Wow – Albertsons stepped up to the plate this week!  They’re doubling/tripling/quadrupling coupons, and there’s lots of free and cheap with the Buy 6 Save $3 instantly General Mills promo!  If you’ve never shopped at Albies when they’re doubling/tripling/quadrupling coupons, here’s how it works (or at least how it has in the past): coupons up to and including 25¢ are quadrupled to $1, up to and including 33¢ are tripled to $1, and up to and including 50¢ are doubled to $1.  Basically, all your coupons are worth $1 – for instance, they typically “multiply” 40¢ coupons to $1.

UPDATE: be very careful with internet coupons – I was just told they will not double internet coupons that say “Do Not Double”.  Which is balderdash for a lot of reasons, but not much I can do. :)
