Walgreens has some great, amazing, fabulous, can’t-miss deals, but shopping there can be really confusing with all the rules and stipulations. I’ve written a new page explaining the ins and outs of shopping at Walgreens – how to get Register Rewards, how to redeem them, the nuances about the number of coupons you can use, and whole lot more.
Go read about Walgreens coupon policies. I hope you’ll find it a helpful resource!
Here are a few deals that I’m seeing at Walgreens this week – due to time constraints, I haven’t listed everything, but you can see an exhaustive list over at Common Sense with Money.
Arizona Tea B1G1 Free
Net cost at checkout: 99¢ for two (49.5¢ each)
Rating: 4
Nature Made Vitamins and Supplements B1G1 Free
Use various coupons from $1/1 insert coupon to $3/1 printable
Net cost at checkout: varies depending on varieties purchased
Rating: 3 – comes around fairly often. This sale also periodically happens at King Soopers and I’m not sure how their prices compare.
Campbell’s Tomato Soup 50¢ (limit 4)
Use $1/2 printable
Net cost at checkout: FREE!
Rating: 5 – Chicken Noodle soup is also included in this sale but the coupon is not valid on Chicken Noodle. I would rate the Chicken Noodle a 3 or a 3.5, we’re seeing that price quite often this time of year so no need to stock up too much. I’d wait for it to go lower.
Hunts Tomato Sauce 3 for $1 with in-ad coupon
Use $1/3 printable when you play the game (thanks, Common Sense With Money!
Dunkin Donuts Coffee $5.99
Use $2/1 insert coupon
Net cost at checkout: $3.99
Rating: 4.5
Bounce Dryer Bar, Downy Liquid Fabric Softener, or Tide Stain Release Liquid $3.99
Earn $2.50 in Register Rewards when you buy $10 or more of these products
Various insert coupons to use
Net cost at checkout: varies – you’ll need to buy three products at $3.99 (total $11.97) to get to the minimum purchase of $10. If you use no coupons, the RR will net you a savings of 20% ($2.50 of $11.97). That’s not a great deal on its own unless you’ve got some pretty good coupons. Might be a good deal with coupons, especially if you’re brand-loyal to these products
Vicks DayQuil or NyQuil (10 or 12 ct) or Liquid (6 oz) or VapoRub Jar (1.75 oz) 2 for $9
Buy two and use two $1/1 insert coupons
Net cost at checkout: $7 for two ($3.50 each) and earn $3 RR
Net cost after RR: $2
Rating: 4
