Yahoo! Time for some new grocery sales! I haven’t been able to look at other stores’ ads yet, but I have a feeling I’ll be shopping at Sunflower Market – they’ve got some great produce prices!
Double Ad Wednesday – Deals Good December 2 Only
Garnet or Jewel Yams 77¢/lb
Rating: 3, maybe a 4? “Regular” yams go for much less at Rancho Liborio
Fresh Herbs $1.50
Rating: 3-4? Not sure how big these bunches are.
Collard, Mustard, Turnip, or Kale Greens 88¢/bunch
Cranberries (12 oz) $2
Green or Red Cabbage 50¢/lb
ORGANIC Kiwi 33¢ each
Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts $1.67/lb
Provolone Cheese $2.99/lb
Rating: 4? Doesn’t go on sale often, especially not in blocks
Darigold Butter (1 lb) $1.99
Deals Good All Week Long
Hass Avocados 50¢ each
Blackberries (5.6 oz) 67¢
Mild Yellow Onions 25¢/lb
Kiwi Fruit 19¢ each
Braeburn or Cameo Apples 88¢/lb
Rating: 3.5, maybe a 4 since we’re out of “apple season”
Green Cabbage 33¢/lb
Super Select Cucumbers 33¢ each
Bartlett Pears 88¢/lb
ORGANIC Fuji Apples 99¢/lb
Rating: 3.5, again, maybe a 4 since we’re not in apple primetime anymore.
Wild Sockeye Salmon Fillet (previously frozen) $5.99/lb
Rating: 3.5-4 – not sure this is a great deal even if it is wild, since it’s previously frozen. But if you’re OK with that, I think it’s a good deal. :)
R/ump, Eye of Round, Sirloin Tip, Chuck, Top Round, or Cross Tip Roast B1G1 Free
Rating: 3-4 – R/ump roast is $2.49/lb, but not sure of the prices on the others. I shoot to pay $2/lb or less for chuck roast, for comparison.
