This week I emailed Albertsons customer service and requested a copy of their official coupon policy Albertsons, LLC stores in Colorado. The Albertsons, LLC part is really important, because there are two different Albertsons (though they used to be the same): a chain owned by Super Valu, and Albertsons LLC. Our stores here in Colorado are owned by Albertsons LLC and as such, are run independently of SuperValu.
Anyway, so I emailed them, but I am 99.99% sure the policy they emailed me is not for our region. Why? Because when you email them through our Albertsons website (AlbertsonsMarket.com), it goes to an email address at Albertsons.com, which is not the same website. Albertsons.com is owned by SuperValu, AlbertsonsMarket.com is for Albertsons LLC stores.
I don’t even know why I’m telling you all this except that I’m frustrated that when you contact their customer service it’s not even the right customer service! :) They gave me a policy, but I’m not even going to post it here because it isn’t the right one for our region, and also contained contradictory information – on the first part it said they accept competitor coupons, and later it said they’ve discontinued that practice.
So. At some point I would like to be able to contact a district manager for our region and get a copy of the official policy that has been rumored to have been implemented recently. I don’t have time to spend a long time searching for phone numbers and email addresses, though, so if anyone else happens to get a copy of the coupon policy, please feel free to share it with everyone by contacting me – I’ll post it!
I’ll be back with Albies deals later. They’re doubling/tripling/quadrupling coupons again, so we’ll see how that goes this time around!
