Do you keep track of how much money you’ve saved over a year? I keep track of spending, but not of how much I’ve saved. It would certainly be fun to be able to look back and see that throughout the course of a year, I averaged saving 75% on groceries, or whatever that number would be!
Andrea has some Google Docs that you can use to help you keep track of your savings if you’re a numbers nerd! She gives a great explanation of how she uses them to see how much she’s saved and how she uses them to plan ahead. Check out her tips!
For some of you with skeptical family members that think that investing a little bit of time every week into saving money can’t possibly be worth the effort, you should try tracking your savings over a period of time to prove them wrong!
