King Soopers weekly deals: January 6-12

Some great deals at King Soopers this week!  Sorry I didn’t get to doing the ad review last week.

If you are loyal to Proctor and Gamble products, make sure you check out the P&G Savings Event below.  There are some awesome and not-so-awesome deals to be had on those products.  How to tell if it’s not-so-awesome?  Look at the original price of an item – some of them are barely even on sale.

Rating: 4-5 – this is about as low as they go if you prefer Laura’s.  93% lean ground beef will go cheaper at Albies and Safeway if you’re not brand-loyal, though.

Rating: 4?  This isn’t a huge percentage discount, but these items don’t go on sale often.  Your input?

Thought this was worth mentioning since we never see a discount on this!

Proctor and Gamble Savings Event

Buy $25 or more in participating P&G items, save $5 instantly at checkout.  Your $25 purchase will come after Sooper card savings but before coupons.  If you spend exactly $25, the instant $5 discount would be exactly 20%, plus any other savings you’d get from coupons and Sooper card prices.

So that you can see how the instant discount affects your overall savings, I’ve included the cost after coupon and then calculated the 20% discount.  Remember that the percentage discount may go lower if you spend more than $25 exactly.
