There are two free kids workshops going on this weekend. Here’s the scoop:
Lowe’s Build and Grow Clinic: Saturday from 10 AM to 11 AM. They’ll be building a “LoweBot” (pictured at right). Registration is required – go here to register. Participants receive the the thing they’ve created, of course, plus an apron, goggles, and more!
Michael’s Make It and Take It: Saturday from 10 AM to 1 PM. It’s science fair-themed – they’ll be making a “Molecule Project”. Their description says “kids will use the periodic table to create 3D models using Crayola Model Magic. While supplies last.” It’s probably a good idea to call ahead to make sure your closest location is planning on participating.
