Yay! What looks like an awesome deal on cheese at Safeway this week! Can’t wait to find out what all the prices actually are so we can see what items are actually a good deal.
Note that Safeway’s coupon policies have been changing a lot lately, so the best I can tell you is…. be prepared for anything! :) Some stores are only allowing one of the same coupon per transaction, so that makes it hard to do several of these deals.
Buy 5 Save $5 Cheese Deal
Buy five Kraft cheese products, save $5 instantly at checkout. Mix and match across all Kraft Cheese, which is evidently over 120 items! The ad says it includes all Kraft Cheese and Dairy Products, Knudsen Cottage Cheese, Philadelphia Cream Cheese and Velveeta Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product (excludes 5 oz. KRAFT Spreads and 5.5 oz. Cottage Doubles Cottage Cheese).
No prices are listed in the ad, but here’s the coupons that I could find:
$1/1 Kraft 100 Calorie Packs Cheese Bites – KraftRecipes.com
$1/1 Kraft Deli Cheese 3/21/2010 SS Insert
$0.50/1 Philadelphia Cream Cheese Minis 4/18/2010 SS Insert
Lael said that Philly Cream Cheese Minis are $1.49, so you could use the $0.50/1 insert coupon and get them free! Lael also said they had $0.55/1 coupons hanging right above the product at Safeway, even better. I’m sure there are other great deals; if you’re able to check some prices and leave a comment to help your fellow shoppers out.
By the way, last time Safeway did this promotion, the “$5 instant savings” did not deduct as $5 total, instead, it deducted $1 from each item. If you don’t see $5 come off on your receipt, I would strongly encourage you to closely scrutinize your receipt to see if it took it off the individual items instead of all at once.
