Still time to get a free reusable bag from King Soopers

There’s still time to design your own reusable bag in the contest sponsored by King Soopers – you’ll get a credit for a free reusable bag just for creating your own design!  And, when you design your bag, make sure you choose to submit it to the Springs Bargains group after you create your design.  Mary had the great idea to create our own group, so you can add it to the group and see what your other local bargain shoppers’ bags look like, too.

Unfortunately, I haven’t found a way to link to the group without creating a bag.  There are at least 5 designs in our group, and that doesn’t include my design which hasn’t appeared in the group yet!

You can design a bag and get a free one through May 21.  Once you’ve designed your bag, the credit for a free bag is added to your King Soopers card and then automatically deducted at checkout when you purchase a bag (like an e-coupon).

By the way, Safeway appears to have stopped giving a 5¢ credit for bringing your own bags, according to reports from several of you!  As far as I know, you can still get a 5¢ per bag credit from King Soopers, Albertsons, and Sunflower Market; and 10¢ from Whole Foods.

Seems like Sunflower Market used to give 10¢ per bag, but I think they lowered it to 5¢ recently.  Please correct me if I’m wrong!
