Albertsons: whole chickens for rock-bottom price

Great deal on whole chickens this week at Albertsons!  If you’re not sure what types of things can be done with whole chickens, check out this post with lots of great tips and recipes.

It doesn’t appear that Albertsons is doubling coupons at all this week.  Whoops, they actually are, it’s just in small print!  Not really seeing many additional deals, though.

There’s an in-ad coupon for $10 off your purchase of $100 or more, but it would be really, really hard to make that a good deal – it’s only a 10% discount, and your $100 purchase must come after all manufacturer’s and store coupons, which means that it would really only be a 10% discount on your final total.

Rating: 4-5 – this is twice the size of the “normal” 32 oz bottles, so the equivalent of paying $0.50 each for one of them.

Net cost at checkout: $5 for four items ($1.25 each)
Rating: 4? If you figure it’s $1.25 per item, that’s not a good deal on the pasta, but it’s pretty good for the sauce so I think it averages out to be a pretty good deal. Check your coupon organizers for Barilla sauce catalinas, I know there have been some here and there!
