Are you a Groupon lover yet?

So, Groupon just came to Colorado Springs this week.  Today’s deal is $7 for $15 worth of food at Squeak Soda Shop!  It’s good through September 7th, and has to be used in one visit.  I’ve heard about Squeak’s but haven’t visited yet… This just might push us over the edge.  We are big root beer fanatics and a trip to a soda shop sounds like fun.

I’m thinking the Groupon deals would be a great way to treat family and friends to some local joints when they visit from out of town.  You could certainly put on the appearance of being super generous and just use Groupons to pay half-price for everything. ;)

And, if you’re planning a vacation to another city, you could also sign up for their Groupon alerts and get some good deals for your trip – just make sure the deals you’re buying don’t expire before your travel dates.  Since the deals are only good for one day, you’d have to purchase them as they come along.
