Wanted: *cheap* eats in Colorado Springs

This week and next I’ll be wrapping up the Cheap Things To Do in Colorado Springs series.  I’d like to add just one more topic, though – cheap eats!

Now, at any given time there are restaurants giving away free food, offering kids eat free nights, or promoting fantastic coupons.  However, I’m looking for cheap eats that don’t require a coupon or special promotion.  Just walk in, order off the regular menu, and get a fantastic deal!

What are your tips for the cheapest places to eat in Colorado Springs?  Specifically, where can an adult eat a full meal for $5 or less?  If we go up to $6-7, the fast-casual options abound, but I’m looking for meals at $5 or less, or super-cheap places to get dessert, like the big soft-serve cones for around $1 at Rizuto’s.
