$1 flip flops at Old Navy – coupon required!

Published June 30, 2010 by Carrie in Expired

Old Navy will be having flip flops for $1 this Saturday, July 3… But you’ll have to print a coupon to get in on the deal! They’ve posted it on Facebook as an event and are indicating you need to print the page to get the discount.

It’s a limit of 5 per person as usual, but I’m guessing this deal will be a little easier to get in on since it requires a coupon.

I was waiting for their flag tees to go on sale for $1, but it doesn’t look like they will this year. :(

Plato’s Closet: a “10” sale next week!

Published June 30, 2010 by Carrie in Expired

Mark your calendars – Jean let me know that Plato’s Closet in Colorado Springs is having a fill a bag of clearance clothing for $10 on July 10th at 10 AM!  They’ll also have other clothing for 20% off.

If you happen to know any more specifics on this sale, such as the size of the bag you’ll be able to fill for $10, or how much stuff will be included in the sale, please comment.

Thanks, Jean!

Tomorrow’s forecast: cloudy, with a chance of meatballs

Published June 30, 2010 by Carrie in Expired

Don’t forget: tomorrow night (Thursday, July 1st) is the first night of the 2010 Pictures on the Promenade outdoor movie event!  They’ll be playing Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs starting at dusk in the east Shops at Briargate parking lot.  It’s free!

Go here to find the complete lineup of this summer’s showings.  And, they’re not free, but pretty cheap: Carmike Cinemas and Cinemark Tinseltown both have cheap summer movie series.

4-day sale at Walgreens

Published June 30, 2010 by Carrie in Grocery Deals

Walgreens has some new deals running June 30 through July 3!  Mercedes has a wrapup of all the new Register Rewards deals for this four-day sale.  Don’t forget about the other deals going on this week as well.

Here’s one 4-day deal I haven’t seen mentioned elsewhere:

Kingsford Charcoal (Original, 8.3 lbs or Match Light, 6.7 lbs) – $3.99
Use $1/1 printable
Net cost at checkout: $2.99

This is not the best deal we’ve seen on charcoal, but if you have Register Rewards to “burn” it might be a good way to do so.  I’m guessing Lowe’s and Home Depot will be having sales on charcoal this weekend as well.
