Safeway: even more Buy 8 Save $4 deals!

Safeway has updated their coupons policy online!  It’s very long, and detailed, which I think is great.  Of note is that it says they will accept manufacturer’s coupons and catalinas with other stores’ logos on them, and that rainchecks are accepted at any Safeway store (I was told contrary last week).  It will be interesting to see if our local stores choose to abide by this policy, or if they do their own thing.

I’d advise printing off a copy of the policy (complete with the website header so it’s clear where it came from) and taking it with you.  If they won’t honor this policy, very gently and nicely show them their official policy.  If they still won’t honor it, there’s no need to be rude – just take your business elsewhere. :)  Thanks to Traci for the tip!

Week two of the Buy 8 Save $4 promo continues at Safeway!  Lots of great deals to be had, and new ones uncovered since last week!

You don’t have to buy in multiples of eight, either – just buy at least 8 and $4 will come off, and then every participating item after that will have 50¢ taken off. Yahoo, you can stop meticulously counting after you get to eight!
