We’re big fans of using “name brand” paint for most projects – it’s so much thicker and applies so much better than Walmart’s brand!  We’ve never used anything more premium than home improvement store paint; I’d be curious to hear how the “paint store” brands match up to the stuff Home Depot and Lowe’s carries.
