Home Depot and Lowe’s: savings on plants, charcoal, and more

Home Depot and Lowe’s both have some nice sales running this weekend!  You can look at their ads online: Lowe’s and Home Depot.

Home Depot

2.5 Quart Shrubs – 4 for $10

Kingsford Charcoal, 2 Pack (40 lbs total) – $9.97

Lowe’s

Assorted 2.5 Quart Perennials – 3 for $9.99

Kingsford Charcoal – B1G1 free, works out to $4.24 each but I’m not sure what size the bags are. I think Home Depot is going to be the better deal.

I can’t remember if either store takes manufacturer’s coupons, but if so, you could try using this $1/1 Kingsford charcoal coupon.

And of course, don’t forget to ask for your military discount.  You can normally get the 10% discount any day of the week anyway, but definitely on 4th of July weekend as both of them have it advertised in the ad!
